5th Annual Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival.
This summer, the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival returns to downtown Asheville. In only a few years, Laugh Your Asheville Off has become the largest stand-up comedy festival in the southeast. This year’s festival will be featuring over 50 comics in 3 days at The Diana Wortham Theatre.

Some big hearted friends in Leicester have created an animal rescue sanctuary at Goat Mountain Ranch. GoatMountainSanctuary.org
Goat Mountain Ranch Sanctuary is located in Leicester NC on 25 acres of property just outside of Asheville. They are a Federally approved 501 C 3 Non Profit Charity and are currently working on expanding their ability to take additional animals when they need a place to either be fostered or stay as long as it takes to find them a suitable home, which in some cases may be for their natural lifespan. They are more suited towards the animals that other rescues don't take in. In other words, they have no facility for dogs and cats yet, but are able to shelter horses, goats, sheep and chickens. They would like to build a facility for dogs and cats since they love them as much as the rest.
